So when Tim first approached me in 2023 to discuss what were the humble beginnings of the LSP, he had my interest right away. It was an easy call to join the Medical Advisory team.
The LSP has developed so much since then, and I can confidently say that it is a clinical tool with strikingly few peers in its present healing power and its future potential. Anyone with any background in manual medicine would be doing a profound service to their clients by adding the LSP to their arsenal.
Chris Green MA, Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (#R8998), serves on the Board of Advisors for Neuro-Therapeutic Solutions, where he advises on clinical, mental health as it relates to the LSP (Limbi System Protocol). His perspective integrates professional training in psychology with extensive lived experience in military service, law enforcement, combat sports, cumulative occupational stress, and traumatic brain injuries.
Chris began his career in the United States Marine Corps, serving as a Military Police Sergeant, K9 handler, and combat veteran of the Iraq War. He later spent more than 12 years as a Deputy Sheriff, working in patrol, training, field training, and K9 operations. He also founded Invictus Defense Academy, where he trained individuals in self-defense, Muay Thai, mixed martial arts, boxing, and other combative disciplines.
Over the course of these high-impact professions and athletic pursuits, Chris sustained multiple traumatic brain injuries that affected his memory, mood, cognition, and overall functioning. His work with Neuro-Therapeutic Solutions and the Limbic System Protocol has been immensely beneficial to his recovery and has given him a personal appreciation for the potential relationship between physical dysfunction, nervous system regulation, and psychological well-being.
Chris holds a master’s degree in psychology with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Psychology degree focused on mental performance optimization. As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, his clinical interests include trauma, men’s mental health, veterans, first responders, couples, resilience, and the psychological effects of high-stress occupations. Chris is the owner of Warrior Monk Mental Performance and Counseling in Beaverton, Oregon, where he works with first responders, couples, and performance coaching clients.
